If you have a question about how to make DIY sugar scrubs leave a comment below.
You said that these scrubs should be kept in a cool dry place. Is the refrigerator ok to store them? Also, how long can you keep them before they expire?
Hi Barb,
I don’t keep them in the fridge because it can get harder, especially when using coconut oil. Just keep them away from sunlight and heat and store them in an airtight container.
Also, don’t allow any water to get into the sugar scrub because it will go bad very fast.
I usually use mine within one or two months, but the shelf life depends on the ingredients used.
Can you let me know which homemade scrub recipe are you referring to?
When you refer to “spoons” do you mean teaspoon or tablespoon for your ingredients?
Hi. Sorry about that. I have updated the post with the correct measurements. Thanks!
