Instructions
Prepare the surface
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
Alternative: use a large flat plate or a glass baking dish lined with parchment. Choose a surface that fits in your fridge to chill.
Melt the white base
Place the white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring well after each round, until completely smooth. If it thickens as it sits, give it another 10 to 15 seconds and stir again.
Spread the base layer
Pour the melted white candy onto your lined surface. Spread into an even slab about ¼ inch thick. Tap the tray or dish lightly on the counter to level the surface and pop air bubbles.
Melt the colors
In four separate microwave-safe bowls, melt the orange, purple, green, and black candy melts the same way, using 30-second bursts and stirring until smooth. Work one color at a time so they stay fluid. Rewarm for 10 seconds if any bowl begins to thicken.
Create the swirls
Drop small spoonfuls of each color over the white base. Drag a toothpick or skewer through the pools of color to marble them. Avoid overmixing so the colors stay distinct.
Add the toppings
Immediately scatter the candy corn, pretzel pieces, and sprinkles over the surface. Press gently so everything adheres before the candy sets.
Set the bark
Leave at room temperature until firm, about 1 to 2 hours, or chill for about 30 minutes for a faster set. Keep the tray or dish level while setting.
Unmold and break
Peel the slab off the parchment or mat. Break into pieces by hand or cut with a sharp knife.
Serve and store
Serve right away or store in an airtight container. Keep at cool room temperature for up to one week. Refrigerate if your kitchen is warm.
