If you love making soaps, a DIY massage soap bar recipe could be your next project.
They are really easy to make and will make a great gift for any occasion.
The soaps have dual benefits for the body: massage and exfoliation.
To make them we will use natural ingredients that act as scrubs to help eliminate dead cells and maintain the skin smooth and soft.
The massage action is great to help relieve tension and knots in muscles, especially after work or exercise.
You don’t need to use essential oils, but I like to add them to help me unwind, to ease muscle pains, or just because I love their smell.
These 4 massage soap bars are made with lavender, green tea, calendula flowers, and soap leftovers.

How to Make Massage Soap Bar (3 Recipes)
Some of the soaps have a ribbon or cord to hang them while you are showering or just to keep them hanging from the bathroom wall.
It comes in really handy.
Don’t add the cord if you don’t like it, I just made them both ways so you can see the difference.

DIY Massage Soap Leftovers
I made this massage soap bar using leftovers from other soaps.
- To make it just combine all the soap leftovers and melt them in the microwave.
- Add about 30 drops of rosemary essential oil or any other essential oil of your choice.
- I added a black colorant but you can add any other color or skip it altogether.
- Place in the massage soap mold until it sets.
- Pop soap bars out of the silicone mold.
The ribbon or cords are useful to hang from your bathroom wall.

How To Use Them
Once in the shower and with the skin moist, start massaging the body in circular motions, insisting on knotty and stubborn areas.
Use the other side of the soap if you want an exfoliating action, instead.
These soap bars will last for a long time.
To store them keep them away from water and humidity. You can hang them from the shower wall, but make sure they remain dry when not in use.
Alternatively, store them in a soap dish or in plastic wrap.
