About Me

Welcome!

Hi, I’m Blanca, the creator behind The Seasonal Nest.

I’ve always believed that our homes should feel welcoming and full of little touches that make everyday life special.

Over the years, I’ve turned that passion into sharing ideas for seasonal décor, DIY crafts, cleaning and organizing tips, and simple recipes that fit right into the rhythm of the year.

I’m not a chef by training, but I’ve spent plenty of time in the kitchen experimenting with recipes that are both comforting and practical.

From fun Halloween treats and cozy fall bakes to festive Christmas desserts, my recipes are designed to be approachable for anyone, whether you’re baking with kids or making something to share at a holiday party.

Before starting The Seasonal Nest, I worked as a housekeeper in London hotels.

That hands-on experience taught me practical cleaning tips and clever organizing tricks that I still use (and now share) today.

Combine that with my love for decorating and DIY crafts, and you’ll find that my site is all about making your home feel cozy, seasonal, and personal, without needing to be perfect.

Most importantly, I want The Seasonal Nest to feel like a place where you can drop in for inspiration and leave with ideas you can actually use, whether that’s trying a new brownie recipe, freshening up your living room for fall, or whipping up easy no-bake Halloween cookies.

So grab a cup of tea, explore a little, and let’s make every season feel special together.
